Thank you SO MUCH for following me on this journey!
In 2008, just before the crash, I decided to drop my plans, quit my job, and go into show business. It's been a longer and tougher road than I anticipated, but it has also been a transformative, exhilarating experience. I've met a lot of people who have changed my life forever. I've experienced loss, anger, and despair, as well as joy, abundance, and countless blessings.
Since quitting my high-paying production job, I've had the opportunity to appear in a few stage plays, TV shows, student- and short-films, as well as wrote, starred in, directed, and produced a few webisodes.
In 2010, I began my pursuit of the Aerial Arts. I discovered The Aerial Classroom through a Google search, where I learned aerial silks, hoop, and static trapeze, as well as stilt dancing and contortion. I've been an aerial instructor at Up Flying Yoga in Studio City for six years, where I teach aerial yoga, aerial hammock, aerial silks, and aerial hoop (lyra), and flexibility.
I've had some amazing professional aerial opportunities, including aerial bartending at corporate events, competing on a professional level, starring as Snow White in a circus production of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, and performing in #LIVEITUP circus shows. I also perform on stilts and spinning poi. One of the more notable gigs I've done recently was stilt and poi dancing for L.A. Zoo Lights during the 2018 holiday season.
During the first six months of 2019, I enrolled in the professional training program at Circus Warehouse in New York City, focusing in Lyra. Recently, I performed with my troupes, The Lovely Hearts for our annual Sierra Canyon Daycamp event, and Rock Circus LA for the Unincorporated Circus. I'll be performing in Brooklyn, New York City, in Cirquedelic: An Immersive Concert Experience.
I'm also a freelance designer. I do websites, social media assets, digital & print advertising media, video editing, motion graphics - pretty much anything you might need designed or edited. For more info, send me a message.
